Datta is a romantic novel plays in the Victorian company Bengal with a backdrop of Bengali fragmented in Hindu and Brahma (Brahma Samaj). The main story revolves around the relationship between a rich woman and a Brahmo brilliant, but needy Hindu youth. Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay is a legendary Bengali novelist of the 20th century. He was born September 15, 1876 in the village of Debanandapur in the district of Hooghly. He was the second son of his parents. The name of his father was Matilal Chattopadhyay and his mother's name was Bhubanmohini. Sarat grew up in the house of his grandparents on his mother's side in Bhagalpur. His childhood spent in extreme poverty because his father was an idle and took care little to support her five children.
